Important COVID-19 Information

The Office of the Registrar has transitioned from remote operation to a hybrid on-campus/off-campus model. Diploma pickup service has resumed. Advance notice (with our acknowledgment) of three work days is required.  We appreciate your patience as we take steps to keep you and our staff safe.

The pandemic continues to impact transit times for regular postal and express delivery of diplomas. We strongly encourage the purchase of express delivery if you need your diploma sent outside the U.S.

December 2021 Graduates

Act now to make sure your paper diploma prints with the variation of your name that you prefer by setting up your DEGREE name. Updates must be made by a to-be-announced date in January 2022. Plan ahead for the arrival of your diploma in late February or early March by checking the accuracy of your Student Home address, https://studentcentral.indiana.edu/personal-information/update-information/address.html.


In a hurry?

If you want your diploma sooner, you can have it delivered via FedEx Priority to a U.S. address ($25) or via FedEx International Priority to an international address ($45). To receive your diploma through FedEx, you must complete a FedEx request form. Note that FedEx will not deliver to P. O. boxes. You must supply a street address for delivery.

Changing your name on your diploma

The name on your diploma will be the same as your primary name on record. You can request a variation of your legal name (for example, first or middle initial instead of your full first or middle name) on your degree.
