Late Payments

Missed the due date?

Your student account will be charged a late payment fee of 1.5 percent each month that it’s past due. Late fees are costly, and you can avoid them easily by paying the amount due by the due date.

If you do not pay your bill by the due date, you will have a hold on your account that stops you from registering for classes.

Is your account past due?

Your past due balance is due immediately.

Appeal a late fee

You may appeal a late payment fee if:

  • You received incorrect information from an IU faculty or staff member that directly resulted in your failure to pay on time
  • Events beyond your control prevented you from paying on time
